Their home in southwestern New Mexico, the Washburn Family operates a business dedicated to building outstanding bucking bulls and to operating in a fair, conscientious and ethical manner with customers.

With more than a decade of Professional Bull Rider, Inc., experience and a PBR World Championship to his credit, Owen developed a special understanding for the range of bucking stock needed for all levels of bull riding.

He began his herd with foundation stock from the Ronnie Roach Family, Shawn Ramirez and Bennie Butler. Starting with just 40 cows and heifers, Owen has built his herd carefully with these animals and the Washburn Bucking Bulls sires.

Washburn and his wife Tricia live with their children, Braiden and Tierney, near Lordsburg, New Mexico.
